We have chosen to offer four handheld radios. The VL50 is our most affordable model priced at only $175. This radio is a replacement for earlier Motorola UHF models including the GT, GT+, P10, P50, SP10, SP21, and comparable Spirit models, all of which are designed to operate on preprogrammed UHF frequencies. The slightly more expensive CP100 offers similar features for an economy radio to meet the needs of VHF system users or UHF user who need more power. Both of These radios are covered by a 1 year factory warranty, but the really big news is that this is a warranty like no other. This warranty keeps your turnaround time down to about a week and reduces your maintenance cost to zero! You don't have to take this radio to a dealer for repair. From anywhere in the USA, you simply call a toll free number to report your malfunction. A prepaid overnight shipping label is immediately sent to you by fax or email as you choose. Motorola pays UPS shipping charges back to a regional repair depot, makes the necessary repair or replacement (normally within 72 hours or less), and returns your radio via UPS overnight shipping at no cost to you. That's not a warranty - That's SERVICE!

The Motorola CP150 series is available in both VHF (148 - 174 MHz) or UHF (450 - 470 MHz) on any frequency of your choice. Unlike the VL50 which is available only on pre-programmed frequencies in the UHF band, the CP150 is PC programmed by Falcon Direct for your specific requirements. The CP150 has twice the power of the VL50 (2 watts versus 1 watt) and is available with a FOUR YEAR WARRANTY option. You have a choice of the standard model with up to 4 channel capability or the optional 16 channel model. Both CP200 units have scan capability (as does the VL50), and are certified compliant and tested to both Military specifications and Accelerated Life Cycle Testing.

The Motorola CP200 series, like the CP150 is built for rugged outdoor service and offers a higher power rating (4 watts for UHF and 5 watts for VHF). Additionally, the CP200 series has the ability to be selectively called as well as sending a unique digital coded ID to a command radio unit capable of initiating selective calling and display of unit ID codes. These command type radios are not listed on this web page. Models capable of providing this capability include the PR400, HT1250 and EX600 series. We are authorized to advertise and sell the VL50, CP100, CP150, and CP200 radios anywhere in the USA. The CP150 and CP200 series radios are ideal replacements for earlier Motorola models including the CT150, CT250, GP300, GP350, P100, P110, P1225, SP50 and SP50+. Top tier radios such as the EX, GTX, JT, HT, MT, MTX, and XTS series are also available but due to the more complex operating requirements, these radio are available only by specific quote.
