Want to do something really good.......

for your community?  Would it be worth a dollar per day to reduce crime, improve merchant relations, and enhance officer productivity?  If so, and you are involved with law enforcement, we would like to tell you more about the incredible MicroCovert asset tracking system.

You probably know about the LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery system.  You probably know about OnStar and other similar services.  These devices use a variety of networks to transmit data from the device, generally with some pretty hefty usage fees.  The purpose of these systems is primarily for owners of expensive equipment (generally vehicles).  Although MicroCovert can provide such services at lower cost, that is not the application we are proposing for law enforcement use.

Our application for the MicroCovert is that of an operational tool for the investigations group.  Before going any further, let us say that the cost of the device is $475 - a one time fee that you pay for a battery powered, self contained GPS tracking device that can tell you just about anything you want to know about a movable asset.  It can be a car, truck, boat, van, trailer or most anything on wheels.  It can be construction or farming equipment - even portable buildings.

No installation is required - just snap it on, then go to a special web site where you decide what kind of reporting you want.  The MicroCovert can continually track a vehicle, or it can be set to notify you when a vehicle or piece of equipment is moved outside a predefined area (we call this geo-fencing).  It can notify you by email or phone when activated or it can be "pinged" for a location report to find a missing vehicle or equipment.

The obvious application is for tracking suspect vehicles (with a court order of course), or even for selective use in monitoring the activities of your own patrol vehicles.  The alternate use is for surveillance of equipment on business premises.  There are other applications limited only by your imagination. Additional information is available at www.info4u.us/MicroCovert.pdf

Now, let's talk about this dollar a day thing.  Once you have purchased your MicroCovert, you will need access to a network and a web client.  There are all kinds of networks.  The least expensive is the Reflex paging network which basically works only in large cities.  The most expensive is the use of satellite networks (Globalstar being our choice).  The oldest, and subject to discontinuance is known as CDPD (Cellular Data Packet Network - essentially analog cellular phone service).  Each of the cellular service providers offer some type of data service.  In general, Sprint covers more cities, AT&T covers more area, and T-Mobile offers the least expensive plans, and Verizon has the highest network speeds.

Picking the right network carrier should be an easy choice.  That's our job.  Setting up the system to meet your requirements is also our function.  We set up a web client to let you know what is going on with MicroCovert monitored assets.  If the term web client is new to you, it just a fancy way of saying that you can watch the movement or determine the position of a monitored asset via the Internet with your PC (Login and password required).  We do the whole job - network selection, set up of the web client, and help you define your operational requirements for a one time fee of just $50 per unit.

We do all of this network, setup, and web client service for a flat fee of a dollar per day.   You can pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually as you choose.  We don't claim to be the least expensive, but we do claim that we will provide our best efforts to serve your individual requirements.  The same is true of the MicroCovert device.  There are less expensive units available but they all have some shortcoming.  Some are not waterproof.  Some have batteries that won't make a full shift.  Some require external antennas or connection to a vehicle electrical system.  You DO get what you pay for!

Once you have your MicroCovert, network connection, and Internet access, you are ready to enjoy the benefits of this amazing technology both for your own use and as a stakeout and surveillance tool to protect those you serve.  If you would like to see MicroCovert in action, just give us a call at 1.800.489.2611.  You'll be glad you did!
