ideally suited for campus security. The Series 6 Advanced Call box is our most popular model, priced at $995, for school campus use while the KP model, priced at $1,496 is best suited for access control.

All models are available in both the Basic and XT models which feature weather-resistant enclosures. The XT features a fiberglass enclosure with a stainless steel faceplate that includes tamper-resistant fasteners and a concealed antenna making it perfect to withstand any element.

Extended Care Programs

In addition to the normal warranty, Falcon Direct offers a variety of special service programs to meet the special needs of those we serve. TotalCare offers three years of service with next day exchange replacement, all shipping cost and repairs for just $95 on all Ritron radios excluding call boxes and repeaters. TotalCare service on call boxes or repeaters is $190 for three years of service. Optionally, flat rate repair is available that provides all repairs, upgrades, housings, clips, batteries, and return shipping cost for a single flat rate fee. The cost of repair on all Ritron radios with the exception of repeaters and call boxes is $95. The cost of flat rate repair on call boxes or repeaters is $265. FCC Licensing

All 2-way radios used for business and governmental use must be licensed excluding low powered Family Radio Service (FRS) radios - period, no exceptions, ever, for anybody except one. The MURS (Multi Use Radio Service) is available for anyone to use - business, personal or public safety. Five frequencies are available in the VHF 150 - 154 MHz band for fixed station, mobile, handheld or call box use. General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) frequencies are NOT approved for commercial or governmental use. The so called color dot frequencies DO require an FCC license for use. All licensed base stations (Stationary Radio Units) must transmit their assigned station call letters in voice or Morse code at least once every hour (with the exception of MURS operation). Substantial fines can result from improper operation. Falcon Direct can assist you in obtaining an FCC license. An optional accessory is available for Patriot fixed station equipment that will provide automatic station identification for licensed systems. Call us at 1.800.489.2611 for additional information.
