Opportunity.......

is often presented in some very unusual ways!  For instance, one of the biggest problems confronting small business owners in the USA is the inability to recruit, train, sustain, and retain good sales people.  The fact is that good people are all around us.  They may be just doing something else, or they not want to commit to full time employment, or maybe we don't take the time to define a market, do the planning necessary to address the needs of that market, or adequately recognize the need to provide a genuine income opportunity for those willing to make the effort to succeed.

It may come as a surprise to some, but we learn our greatest lessons by listening and paying attention to what is going on around us.  For example, one of our key suppliers, Ritron, Inc. produces great wireless products including call boxes and 2-way radios.  We've never performed to our full potential for Ritron although their products are fairly priced, of good quality, and made in the USA.  There are two constraints to our success in marketing these products.  First - we have not properly defined a market that needs the products that doesn't suffer from intense competition or lack of customer interest coupled with the fact that we have never developed sales people with the specific responsibility of selling these products.

Then, one day, out of the blue - one of our customers identified and overlooked and unserved market for our products.  A day or so later, several people appeared who were interested in an entry level position in joining us.  From all of this came the product family now known as OuterCom and a system for marketing these profits that was and is effective, profitable, and ideal for part time or full time participation.  No sales experience is necessary (good things sell themselves), the market exists all over the USA, is not seasonal, and can easily migrate to larger (already identified) and more profitable markets.
