for your interest in purchasing Motorola software and programming accessories.  In order to purchase software, you must sign a software license agreement with Motorola. To obtain your license, please call Motorola at 800-448-6686.  When the Customer Service Representative answers, tell them the reason for your call is a New Customer Inquiry regarding the purchase of software for the model radio desired.

Depending on the model, you will be asked to sign either a single license agreement for Radius products, or a second agreement for Professional products.  We understand that Motorola can fax or email these forms to you along with a software order form.  Upon receipt, sign and return the license agreement(s) and order form to Motorola.  When received, Motorola will process your order and send you the desired software along with a three year software license.  This license includes automatic updates as software revisions are made.  You can then order the desired Radio Interface Box (RIB) and programming cables as required from Falcon Direct.  The typical cost for Professional Series radios (CDM, EX, HT, PM, PR and XPR Series) is $299.  The price for all Radius models is $199 including the CP and CM series.  Actual price will be verified by Motorola when you apply for a license agreement. The one exception is the software for the Minitor V pager which can be purchased directly from Best Price Radio.

This procedure allows Motorola to provide the best service to Motorola customers by providing current revisions automatically.  Concurrently, you agree under the terms of the license not to resell copyrighted software.  This protects your investment while helping Motorola to continue to develop the finest products and best support available anywhere!
