Don't purchase another 2-way radio that doesn't have digital capability!  We know that analog radios are a lot less expensive than P25 digital radios, and about half the cost of NXDN radios.  Analog radios are NOT significantly less expensive than DMR radios by Hytera.  As a matter of fact, the PD782 by Hytera is LESS expensive than the popular Motorola HT750/1250 series, the EX500/600 series, and even the digital upgradeable XPR6550!                                                                                                                                           We have performed side-by-side tests against other radios costing up to twice the price of the PD782 and it came up as the winner every time.  We want you to make that same test, at no cost or obligation.  Then you'll see why Hytera is the only way to go - for now, and for the future!

As you may know, there are three competing digital technologies in the USA - DMR, NXDN, and P25. We have tested all three and the clear winner is DMR.  Why?  Mainly because you get the primary benefits of digital (Privacy, longer battery life, better audio, longer range on narrow band channels, and text messaging, but there is more.

DMR, and only DMR (that's what Hytera and MotoTRBO are) gives you TWO operating channels for the price of one.  That means you can have a low cost two channel trunking radio system (a Hytera exclusive) without the cost of trunking infrastructure.  Or you can use the built in GPS capability to provide affordable and efficient vehicle tracking.

The PD782 has vibrate alert and built in encryption for both digital AND analog channels - a HUGE benefit to public safety users.  IP addressable capability allows simple and affordable multi-site networking and the reliability is enhanced beyond the capabilities of all but the most expensive analog radios.
